About the Series

Growing up in Rhode Island, the sea has been a part of my life since childhood. It is part of what defines my sense of place. It is a fundamental element of nature in my corner of the world. The ocean is changeable: at times peaceful and serene, at times violent and stormy. In all of its guises, it provides a sense of solace, solitude, and simple joy. I strive to capture this essence of the sea in my Ocean series.
