ABOUT THE ART

Serene, modern photography for your tranquil room.

We humans seek peace and tranquility in our habitats – our homes, our workplaces, our hotels and restaurants.  Amidst this hectic, haywire world we crave simplicity.  We want mental open space where we can relax and recharge.  With my modern photography, I want to give the mind a place to rest that is available whenever you walk into the room.  And I want that resting place to be the perfect fit for your unique habitat.

Since founding D. S. Brennan Photography in 2006, I have used modern photography and my background in environmental science to translate natural stories into serene artwork.  My photographic style captures the intricacies of the natural world in a simple and timeless way.  My work has contributed to tranquil spaces around the world, including The Stone House hotel in Rhode Island and the home of artist Geninne Zlatkis in Mexico.

I invite you to pause, take a deep breath, and explore my images.

Diana worked incredibly hard in choosing the right artwork to provide for the Stone House. She spent countless hours helping us choose which piece was right for each building and each room. Her dedication to this project was such a delight. We have had so much positive feedback from our guests on Diana’s artwork.” – Stefanie May, Director of Hotel Operations at Stone House
